Mr. Prithvi Haldea serves as the Founder, Chairman of Praxis Consulting & Information Services Pvt. Ltd.(PRIME Database). He also serves as an Advisor to Gaja Capital Partners. For 18 years, he worked at senior positions in the corporate sector in the areas of exports, consulting and advertising. In a career spanning more than 40 years in India, he has worked in senior positions across the corporate landscape. He has worked inclusively on the development of India’s capital markets. During the late 70s and early 80s, Mr. Haldea was also associated with the information industry and, among various activities, worked as a consultant with The World Bank and the U.S Department of Commerce. In 1989, he set up PRIME Database.
Mr. Haldea has served as an Independent Director of UTI Asset Management Company (P) Ltd. He is a Member of Central Listing Authority and also the IPO Committee at OTC Exchange of India. He was a Trustee of the NPS Trust Board and a Member of the Expert Group for Recommending Investment Norms for NPS. He is the Central Government Nominee on the Governing Council of ICAI, Member of the Board of Governors at the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs, Member of the Postal Life Insurance Investment Board and a special invitee to the Quality Review Board of ICAI. He is a Member of Advisory Committee at National Stock Exchange of India Ltd. and also a Member of several committees of SEBI, NSE, DSE, PHDCCI, ASSOCHAM, CII and NASSCOM.
